Monster energy commercials most commonly follow an athlete playing a sport.   Normally said athlete's sport is being represented by a panning wide shot. This shot is not normally preceded by a establishing shot. An example of this is for a running commercial monster energy might take the camera from a wide shot of a track from the side which pans over to make it seem like the runner is running directly as the camera. They then normally do a Jump cut to them drinking a monster energy drink from a low angle. The camera then tilts up until we get an eye line match while they drink said monster energy drink. After this the commercial shows how they improve after drinking said monster energy drink normally there performance has improved by a noticeable margin. Doing the same Panning wide shot as the beginning. Then it shows the monster energy logo. With there slogan which is "Unleash the Beast" ------ Sound The score is normally played over the ambient sound and they're su

I will be working alone on the commercial. At first I believed I would work on it partnering up with the person who sits directly in front of me in class. Complications came when I get home and my parents informed me I was doing too many group projects. I spoke to my tutor and they recommended I do it alone so I decided to do it alone. Past that the only reason I did not do it in a group was that I quite didn't need much help past just remembering what to do on my blogs. For my actual project I plan on making a commercial which makes more sense alone. I think it especially makes sense alone since monster energy what I'm making it about. I believe I'm making it about monster energy drink and from what I've seen form monster most of its commercials are done by 1 person and sometimes 2. I am not artistic enough to do storyboards so they will be very very simple but, that is a risk im more than willing to take over just getting a bad group member. Similarly I have realized

Hello, my name is Christian Smith and this is my first blog post for my blog for Aice Media studies. I mostly took this class because, I thought it would be the natural progression from theatre. Similarly I took this class due to wanting to learn how to market. Due to me having to inherit a business. It would save money from having to hire a director for commercials and the like. More about me though I am a junior at Fort Lauderdale high school.  I recently turned 15.  I think by going through the AS and A level of this class I will legitimately learn a lot about how media works by well of course studying it. In my free time I do wrestling which I am starting to do starting today actually.   I also play video games which I find is my most enjoyable past time. My current favorite video game is guilty gear strive it is a fighting game with beautiful animation and even more beautiful mechanics. My favorite class since well basically forever is history I think that I like the non fiction
