Aice Media studies

 Today I have finally finished my commercial. All in all I think I learned a lot. Generally the expirience was pretty enriching. I thought it was fun. I got to meet more of my classmates Through filming I learned a surprising amount of people did it off drinks. I think fully that this was no coincidence that drink commercials are some of the best. There able to gain and retain our attention the best. Companies like Coca Cola monster energy and Nesquik. I learned how hard editing actually is and now respect editors so much more. Though without further ado. My first film ever here.

Today I began editing my movie. First, due to prior complications, I had to go and do some refilming. As outlined in my recording blog I was pushed into a pool so I got an extra day of filming. I went and got my partner from my one day of filming. I had also until today not had a can of monster energy. Luckily today I had gone to 7 eleven and got my can of monster energy. So we went out to the field and we refilmed a scene in which I used a replacement monster energy. It went really well we met another class out there and got some help with framing the video from them. Unfortunately due to this, we had gotten a costume change mid-commercial which I think I'm going to have to keep in. Past that when I got home I went on an iPad and loaded Imovie. This was the first time I had ever use the program and found it quite easy and intuitive. Though a little issue is that you cannot actually use sound outside of apple music.  Unfortunate circumstances Unfortunately enough for me I sadly couldn't film for 1 of the filming sessions. What happened is that on Tuesday my dad pushed me into a pool. We were outside cleaning the boat and he thought it would be funny. Unfortunately, the not comical part of the scenario was that I had my cellular device in my pocket at the time. So that is why unfortunately I couldn’t film on Monday instead I had decided to finish and redo my storyboard blog.

 Monstrous problems Due to complications last class, I could not film. Now, this put me in a bad scenario in which I only had one day to film. Now another problem is that I did not have a monster energy drink. I decided to remedy these problems in the following way. I had first off decided to cut the monster out of the second running shot. I had then filmed every scene except the monster drinking scene which I filmed using a can I spray painted to be green and black. I then filmed it with my hand over normally where the logo would be. With that out of the way, I decided to get some help getting a cameraman from another group. They were glad to help and did the filming while I did the acting. We had also met some other groups out at the track field where we met them. They helped me time the clips to trim the commercial down to 30 seconds. Past that next class, I should be able to begin editing in which I can finally add the final scene which looks like this I can't really film that
