Production Blog #1

 Today I began filming. We went out to the beach and unfortunately it began raining. So I had to go back into the car and wait for about 2 hours. Once we got out the sand was still wet . We set up the green army men and everything seemed in order. Then we started filming and learned unfortunately that pop it's will not actually explode on wet sand. This made it almost impossible for the pop its to explode. So then we had to deal with that problem. We took a slab of rock and put it under the sand so the pop it's would have more force. No dice still wasn't working. So then we decided to try to just do it on stone. Then realized the pop its actually got wet not allowing them to explode. So then we hiked it to Walmart to get more of them. We got there got out of the car. Went into the store. Looked around. Only to see that they were out of the Pop it's. This journey had infuriated me to the highest order. So we just both went home. We decided to try again the next day. I ordered a fresh new pack that night set in to come the next day. Then the next day we were off to the races.
